I received a response from yesterday's email. My anticipated departure date is June 9th, and a placement person is supposed to call by the end of the month to make sure I am perfectly qualified for the position. They were not supposed to tell me a date, but given my travels they made an exception for me so I can make sure I am back in the States by then. Yay, progress.

Yeah, seriously! So I am going to see if I can get a hold of my Glasgow friend, and then talk to my friend Suu in Edinburgh about those two day tours she runs, and we can plan the rest of our trip, woo!

I am making it work. I've heard about people rejecting their first offer and never getting a second. Sometimes I think PC is a little bit too demanding, but they get away with it so I should best comply! Luckily I haven't booked all of my May stuff, so I'll be back in the states for a few weeks in May, take off to Ireland for a bit with a friend, then return for a week and leave for Africa.
